Genacast backs Riskive cybersecurity startup

Comcast Ventures’ partnership Genacast Ventures joins in $2.2m seed funding for social cybersecurity startup.

Riskive, a US-based cybersecurity software startup, has secured $2.2m in seed funding from Genacast Ventures (a seed fund formed in partnership between serial entrepreneur Gil Beyda and with Comcast Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of entertainment and cable communications company Comcast Corporation, to invest in technology-centric internet start-ups), venture capital firm Core Capital and a group of angel investors including Frank Bonsal, Greg Cangliosi, Bill Boyle and Andrew Eye.
